Engine Business manufactures and markets a broad range of diesel and natural gas-powered engines, under the Cummins brand name for the heavy-and medium-duty truck, bus, recreational vehicles (RV), light-duty automotive, agricultural, construction, mining, marine, oil and gas, rail and governmental equipment markets.
This business is one of the most integrated providers of power solutions in the world, designing or manufacturing most of the components that make up power generation systems, including engines, controls, alternators, transfer switches and switchgear. This business is a global provider of power generation systems, components and services for a diversified customer base to meet the needs for standby power, distributed generation power, as well as auxiliary power needs in specialty mobile applications.
Distribution Business consists of 9 distributor joint ventures in North America and 17 wholly owned distributors and 1 joint venture in worldwide, covering 89 countries and territories through 220 locations.

Fleetguard/Nelson Business includes Fleetguard liquid and air filtration systems, and Nelson noise suppression, air discharge and muffling systems. These products can widely used in heavy, medium and light-duty trucks, and engineering machinery, mining equipment, agricultural machinery, ships and power generating equipment.
Emission Solutions Business provides omni-directional system solutions for clients through reducing the nitrogen oxide and particulate matter discharge from engine and power plants, so as to meet the increasingly strict environmental protection standard. Products include catalyst, particulate matter filter, control system and other filtration system.
Holset Engineering Co. can design and manufacture the whole series turbochargers and relevant products used for fuel and natural gas engines. With the engine power range covers from 3.8 to 25 liters, they are mainly applied to commercial cars and industrial market.
The Fuel Systems Business designs and manufactures fuel system, and the key application of the system aims at heavy-duty highway fuel vehicles. The main clients of the sector are Cummins Engine Business and Swedish Scania Truck Co. Scania Co. and Cummins Fuel System Business cooperatively set up two joint ventures. Cummins-Scania High-pressure Fuel System Joint Venture produces fuel system for the current engine products line. In July, 2005, High-pressure Fuel Syetem (XPI) Joint Venture was founded for the development and production of newly fuel system facing after 2007 future emission standard.

East-Asian Customer Support Center
In March 15, 2002, the first Consumers' Day after China’s entry into WTO, Cummins East-Asian Customer Support Center was founded in Beijing. At the same time, service hotlines were also opened, aiming at China mainland, Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan.
Attached great importance to the construction of service system, Cummins now has established the distributed service network consisted of 12 regional service centers and several hundred authorized distributors in East-Asian. On the basis of the service network, Cummins has also established the East-Asian Customer Support Center to merge these resources together, so as to provide better after-sale services for clients in the unified style and image. Only need to dial 400 hotlines, clients can get the technical guidance from Support Center’s engineers and Cummins service information of located area.
All day 24 hours operation, Customer Support Center will be responsible for the clients’ explanation about after-sale services, client complaints, maintenance, technical support and market consultation, etc. Currently, Support Center holds three full-time engineers graduated from engine and automobile professions.
